Silchar/New Delhi, June 30 -- Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday dialled chief ministers of flood-affected Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and took stock of the ongoing rescue, relief and rehabilitation measures, even as Union minister for agriculture & farmers' welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan is set to undertake a two-day visit to the northeast states beginning June 30, the government said.
