Mohali, Aug. 24 -- The Residents Welfare Association (RWA), Sector 67, has renewed its demand for restricting construction to three floors on commercial plots 14, 15 and 16, even as the clubbed site has been auctioned by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for Rs.225 crore.

In a representation to Punjab housing and urban development minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, RWA president NS Kalsi said the three plots should not have been clubbed into a single site and sought restrictions on the height of construction, citing concerns over ventilation, sunlight and the impact of a large built-up structure on the adjoining residential area.
