India, Sept. 16 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday told suspended Punjab Police DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar that his bail plea in a corruption case deserves to be dismissed even as it adjourned the matter by four weeks to await the examination of key witnesses in the case. A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana observed, "It is a 100% case of dismissal," as Bhullar's lawyer pointed out gaps in the prosecution case as it failed to examine a material witness and sought permission of the court to allow two other witnesses to be examined in the trial. It said, "You want a dismissal now or later.We will examine your plea after certain witnesses are examined." htc
