The left-hander was yet to make the No.3 slot his own, and questions were slowly but steadily growing about his position in the team. However, the youngster was able to block out the outside noise, playing an 87-run knock off 165 balls with the help of 12 boundaries. The Gujarat Titans batter looked set for a century, but he ended up losing his wicket to Jomel Warrican against the run of play.
