India, Oct. 3 -- Tamil Nadu government will release the RTE Admissions 2025 notification on October 6, 2025. The application process for admission in private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act for the 2025-26 academic session will commence from October 9, 2025 onwards.

The decision to release the notification was taken after the Centre released the state's due share of approximately Rs.700 crore.
