India, Sept. 28 -- Rory McIlroy, the world number two golfer from Northern Ireland, displayed visible frustration with American spectators during his foursomes match on the second day of the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black. The intense atmosphere of the event escalated as McIlroy faced persistent heckling. This led to heated exchanges with fans and an appeal to officials.
The tension reached a peak at the 15th hole when a disruptive shout interrupted the swing of McIlroy's foursomes partner, Englishman Tommy Fleetwood.
Visibly agitated, McIlroy marched toward the gallery lining the left side of the fairway. He then pointed at the crowd and asked a local officer, "Did you see who did that?"
