India, Aug. 26 -- Reddit was down for thousands of users on Monday afternoon in the United States, as per DownDetector a platform that tracks such outages based on users' reports.

Most users complained that their comments were not loading on Reddit. As of this writing, more than 17,864 users are reporting the outage.
