Re-delineation of NCR boundaries: Haryana proposal to shrink its NCR area shelved, existing boundaries to stay intact
Chandigarh, June 17 -- Haryana's proposed move to reduce its area under the national capital region (NCR), initiated as per an October 2021 decision of the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) to re-delineate the NCR, was shelved during the 42nd meeting of the board in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, who attended the board meeting, said that it was decided that there would be no change in the existing geographical limits of the NCR and the existing boundaries would stay intact.
