Udaipur, April 26 -- Authorities in Rajasthan's Salumber district have initiated door-to-door health checks at a village after it reported the deaths of two cousins within 18 hours of each other, people familiar with the matter said. According to officials, the deceased - Asha (6) and Rusiya (5) - died at their homes in Kunda villlage at around noon on Thursday and early on Friday, respectively. Both reportedly developed sudden vomiting fits followed by seizures. District collector Mohammad Junaid PP said that authorities admitted some other sick children at the community health centre in Lasadiya.
