Dharamshala, Aug. 8 -- Incessant showers continued to disrupt normal life in Himachal Pradesh, with 162 roads blocked across the state on Friday.

In Mandi district, 56 roads remained blocked. The Chandigarh-Manali National Highway was closed for traffic on Friday morning between Dwada and Thalot in Mandi district due to shooting stones triggered by heavy rainfall. The continuous rain made travel along the stretch risky, resulting in long traffic jams on both sides. Traffic movement was restored a few hours later.
