India, July 28 -- Heavy rainfall swept across Delhi-NCR, including Gurugram, on Tuesday, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a red alert for the region. The nowcast warning remained in effect until 3:20 pm.

Videos circulating on social media showed waterlogging in several parts of Gurugram after heavy rainfall. The visuals showed flooded roads, with rainwater accumulating on key stretches across the city.
