Chandigarh, May 2 -- The one-day special session of the Punjab assembly on Friday saw high drama following an unprecedented demand from the Opposition for a breathalyser test of chief minister Bhagwant Mann.
The Congress, and, later, other opposition parties, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged that the chief minister arrived in the assembly in an inebriated state.
The chief minister rejected the allegation and said: "They [opposition parties] have no issues to raise. What test should be done?" P10
