Chandigarh, Aug. 22 -- The National Students Union of India (NSUI) announced their panel for the upcoming Panjab University Campus Student Council (PUCSC ) elections on Friday. Stir followed after they announced two candidates for the posts of president and vice president in the evening.

A press conference was called by NSUI earlier, but it had to be deferred, as the Delhi leadership of NSUI had only approved the name of Gurman Singh Sidhu of the department of pharmacy for the post of president, told a NSUI insider. A second letter by national president of NSUI Vinod Jakhar also confirmed the name of Aakansha Thakur of the department of biophysics for the post of vice president.
