PATNA, March 23 -- The 114th Bihar Diwas celebrations were formally inaugurated by chief minister Nitish Kumar at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Sunday, with top leaders including deputy chief ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Sinha in attendance. The three-day event marks the foundation of the state and showcases its cultural legacy and development journey. President Droupadi Murmu Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, home minister Amit Shah, Governor Lt Gen (Rtd) Syed Ata Hasnain were among several dignitaries who extended greetings on the occasion, praising Bihar's heritage and its aspirations for growth.
