India, Aug. 19 -- Almost 18 years after the Mumbai 26/11 terror attack that claimed 166 lives, police have filed an application before a special court seeking trial in absentia for six Pakistani nationals involved in the conspiracy behind the attacks. The six Pakistanis that the police are seeking to try in absentia are LeT chief Hafeez Muhammad Saeed, key LeT operative Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Sajid Mir, alleged to be one of the handlers of the ten men who slipped into Mumbai to carry out the attacks, Major Abdul Rehman Pasha, Abu Kaahfa and Abu-Al-Qama who were allegedly in the control room set up in Karachi as the attacks unfolded. htc
