India, Aug. 24 -- Firefighters have stopped the forward progress of the Petaluma Fire in Sonoma County after a vegetation fire spread into a nearby solar facility Sunday, Cal Fire reported.

The fire was reported near Highway 101 and San Antonio Road in Sonoma County. It grew to approximately four acres before crews brought the flames under control. Cal Fire said firefighters remained at the scene to extinguish hot spots and reinforce containment lines.
