Pune, Nov. 9 -- The firm linked to Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar's son, Parth Pawar, will now have to pay Rs.42 crore in stamp duty and penalties to register the cancellation of the controversial Rs.300-crore land deal in Mundhwa, Pune, officials aware of the development said on Saturday, with chief minister Devendra Fadnavis reiterating that the case is being taken as per law and there is no question of saving anybody.
