India, March 16 -- A Parliamentary panel reviewing the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's (MeitY) budget has flagged persistent underutilisation of funds and implementation delays across several major technology schemes, including the semiconductor programme, and production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes.
The observations were made in the 24th report of the Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology on the Demands for Grants (2026-27), which was presented in the Lok Sabha and laid in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.
