Panchkula, Aug. 27 -- A 42-year-old woman, identified as Rajinder Kaur, was murdered after her throat was slit at her boutique in Abdullapur Colony, Pinjore, on Wednesday afternoon. Police arrested her husband, Shyam alias Shammi, within a few hours of the incident and claimed to have recovered the suspected murder weapon from him.

Police said the incident took place around noon when Kaur was at her rented boutique. She was found with a deep cut on her neck and was rushed to the primary health centre in Pinjore in a semi-conscious condition where she died.
