Gurugram, Aug. 22 -- Police in Palwal have registered a case of murder, criminal conspiracy, dowry death and other offences against 11 people after a 25-year-old woman and her one-and-a-half-month-old son were allegedly strangled to death, officials said on Friday. The woman's family has accused her in-laws of prolonged harassment over dowry and alleged that they had been demanding an SUV. The 11 people named in the FIR, accessed by HT, include the woman's husband, his parents, siblings, relatives and the head of Rajpura village.
