Pakistan will play Junior World Cup in India, says Hockey India secretary
RAJGIR, Aug. 31 -- Pakistan will travel to India for the junior hockey World Cup that will be held in Chennai and Madurai from November 28 to December 10, Hockey India secretary general Bhola Nath Singh said on Friday. "The Pakistan hockey team is coming for the Jr World Cup. They confirmed it to me last night," said Singh.
Pakistan did not travel to Rajgir for the ongoing Asia Cup. Though they did not give an official statement, people aware of the matter in the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) had said it was due to "security concerns".
