India, April 2 -- The ongoing 11th season of the Pakistan Super League witnessed a stunning chase on Wednesday as Multan Sultans pulled off a spectacular win against Hyderabad Kingsmen at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. At the heart of the show was Sahibzada Farhan, whose brilliant century powered Multan to chase down 226 with eight balls to spare-the fifth-highest successful chase in PSL history.
Put in to bat first in the eighth match of the season, Hyderabad got off to a blistering start, with openers Saim Ayub and Maaz Sadaqat adding 59 runs in just 31 balls. Sadaqat led the charge with a fiery 62 off 26 deliveries, while a late flourish from Sharjeel Khan (51* off 26) propelled the new franchise to a formidable 225 for five.
