India, Aug. 11 -- If you happen to cross one of the key transit routes of 'Kanwariyas' - devotees who perform the revered Kanwar Yatra - chances are you saw groups of people engaged in a relay race of sorts, passing baton-like objects to each other in coordinated clothes and being assisted by trucks carrying their team memmbers- a practice known as 'Daak Kanwar' that is mostly undertaken on the last two days of the pilgrimage, i.e, 48 hours leading to Shivratri.
