India, Aug. 16 -- Ohio is seeing a warm, humid and unsettled day, with thunderstorms affecting parts of the state. The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for parts of northeastern and central Ohio, with 60 mph wind gusts possible.

As per the National Weather Service in Cleveland, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued earlier today for northeastern Ashland County and Wayne County in northeastern Ohio, effective until 1:30pm EDT. At 12:44pm EDT, radar had indicated a severe thunderstorm near Polk, close to Ashland, moving east at 40 mph.

The hazard included 60 mph wind gusts, with the impact expected to cause damage to trees and power lines.
