CNBC reported on June 19 that AI scientist John Jumper announced on X that he is joining AI startup Anthropic. He shared the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Google's Demis Hassabis for co-creating AlphaFold, an AI system that predicts protein structures. Hassabis responded to the post with praise.
