AMRITSAR, Aug. 9 -- Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami on Saturday visited the Miri Piri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research at Shahabad Markanda.

He assured the institute's trustees, staff and local residents that medical services and employees' salaries would not be affected because of the ongoing legal dispute over the institution's management.

Dhami said the SGPC would continue to discharge its responsibilities until a final judicial determination in the matter and ensure that patients continue to receive medical facilities without disruption.
