Dehradun, June 26 -- A group of Nihang Sikhs brandished swords and attempted to break barricades at the Kulhal border outpost in Dehradun late on Thursday. The group, travelling from Paonta Sahib toward Hemkund Sahib, is demanding the release of four Nihang Sikhs arrested following a violent parking dispute in Karnaprayag on June 16. Security forces, including the PAC and ITBP, were placed on high alert in the Vikasnagar area following reports of the group's arrival.
