India, Sept. 10 -- Netizens were full of praise for Suryakumar Yadav after the India T20I captain withdrew a run-out appeal against UAE batter Junaid Siddique during the Asia Cup 2025 clash in Dubai on Wednesday. Many lauded the gesture as sportsmanship, even though replays had already confirmed Junaid was out of his crease.
The unusual moment came in the 13th over of UAE's innings. Shivam Dube bowled a bouncer, and as Junaid backed away, a towel slipped from the bowler's waist.
