New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- A 31-year-old man, wanted for the murder of his girlfriend in Delhi nearly eight years ago, was apprehended at the India-Nepal border in Bihar's Raxaul on Sunday after escaping a prison in Nepal as part of the mass jailbreaks during the recent Gen Z protests, police said on Monday.
Delhi Police said Arjun Kumar alias Bhola, who carried a reward of Rs.1 lakh and had eluded capture since 2017, was serving a 25-year term at a Kathmandu jail in a separate murder case. Bhola, from Bihar's Chapra, was serving the sentence in Kathmandu for killing a local woman in 2019. Officers said the woman had opposed her daughter's relationship with Bhola's associate. P3
