India, Aug. 14 -- Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Zeeshan Siddique on Friday lodged a complaint with the Bandra West Police Station after allegedly receiving two death threats recently in Mumbai.

Siddique, who is the son of slain NCP leader Baba Siddique, alleged that he received a death threat over a phone call and added that he had informed senior police officials along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the matter, according to news agency ANI.

"I have informed Mumbai Commissioner of Police (CP) Deven Bharti and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis about the call," Siddique had told ANI.
