Mumbai, Nov. 3 -- A group of senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders met Union home minister Amit Shah in Delhi late on Sunday, said people aware of the matter, triggering further speculation of turmoil within the regional party that failed to win a single seat in the recently concluded Maharashtra legislative polls. The party denied any internal rift, saying the meeting - which happened in the absence of deputy chief minister Sunetra Pawar and her son, MP Parth Pawar, according to an official statement by the NCP - was a pre-arranged, formal engagement.
