Mumbai, Oct. 11 -- Naseeruddin Shah will play Salman Rushdie in a stage adaptation of the latter's memoir Knife, which recollects the 2022 murder attempt on the author. The play, 27 Seconds, will open at the Prithvi Theatre Festival in November. "I have been an admirer of Naseer's for a very long time. I'm delighted he has taken on this project," Rushdie told HT in an email interview. P15
