India, Aug. 8 -- A Mumbai woman has shared her experience of being out in the city with a female friend in the early hours of the morning, saying she was struck by how safe and comfortable they felt despite being outside without any male companions.

Taking to Instagram, a woman named Nisha posted a video documenting the late-night outing as the two friends headed towards a beach at around 3:30 am. In the clip, she expressed her surprise at being able to move around the city freely at that hour without feeling uncomfortable or unsafe.
