India, May 1 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the 13.3-km Mumbai-Pune Expressway 'Missing Link' project on May 1, coinciding with Maharashtra Day. The project, which connects Khopoli to Kusgaon near Lonavala, is expected to cut travel time between Mumbai and Pune by 20-30 minutes by bypassing the congested Khandala Ghat stretch, while making the expressway fully access-controlled.
