India, Aug. 9 -- A Mumbai man has struck a nostalgic chord online after creating a website dedicated to the music once commonly heard in old-school Indian barbershops. The quirky project takes users back to the days of inexpensive haircuts, simple hairstyles and neighbourhood "saloons", long before modern salons became the norm.

Taking to X, Yash Bhardwaj shared a screen recording of the website, which plays songs associated with the familiar atmosphere of traditional Indian barber shops.

"I made a website that plays bangers from Indian barbershops before you became fancy and started visiting salons. You once went to a 'saloon'. Rs.20 ...
