New Delhi, July 2 -- The southwest monsoon appears to be on the verge of arriving in Delhi, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and private forecasters on Wednesday indicating that the weather system could advance into the Capital before the weekend, days after schedule.
In its evening monsoon bulletin, the weather office said conditions are favourable for the monsoon to continue advancing over the next two days, including into Delhi. Private forecasters, however, said conditions were already favourable for the monsoon to reach the Capital by Thursday night or Friday. P4
