Noida, Feb. 13 -- Trinamool Congress lawmaker Mahua Moitra alleged on Thursday that the Bharatiya Janata Party interfered when West Bengal Police travelled to Noida to arrest a man accused of circulating alleged fabricated chats of the Member of Parliament from Krishnanagar.

Moitra posted three videos-4.18, 2.38 and 3.09 minutes long-which purportedly showed a man standing next to a woman and having a conversation. Later, he is purportedly seen as dialling another person.

Bengal Police have alleged that Noida Police obstructed them when they tried to arrest the accused in a Noida Sector 110 high-rise , leading to the escape of the social media influencer. Noida Police have denied the allegation.
