NEW DELHI, Sept. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday instructed the defence ministry to swiftly implement concrete steps to achieve greater jointness, "atmanirbharta" and innovation to meet future challenges and prevail against any eventuality.
He also reviewed the country's security situation and the operational preparedness of the armed forces on the opening day of the biennial Combined Commanders' Conference (CCC) being held in Kolkata from September 15-17. P10
