India, Aug. 24 -- Police have registered an FIR and apprehended a 17-year-old boy after three policemen were injured as a mob allegedly threw chilli powder in their eyes and attacked them with bricks and sticks in Mukundpur near north Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy on Saturday afternoon. Police said the attack was allegedly over impounding a motorcycle at Janta Vihar in the area.

Deputy commissioner of police (outer-north) Shobhit D Saxena said that at 3pm on Saturday, two head constables, Dinesh and Rajesh, were on a beat patrol duty at Janta Vihar in Mukundpur.
