migrant worker killed, another injured in valley terror attack
Srinagar, Aug. 1 -- A labourer from Chattisgarh was killed and another sustained injuries after suspected terrorists opened fire on them at a brick kiln in Kilam village of Jammu & Kashmir's Kulgam district on Friday, officials said.
A senior police officer said that the attackers fled from the spot and a massive search operation has been launched in Kilam and its surrounding areas. "The security forces are trying to trace the terrorists responsible for this attack," the officer said.
The attack was the second terror strike in J&K since the 2025 Pahalgam attack, and the first to involve civilian deaths.
