Dharamshala, Feb. 13 -- : A female mid-day meal worker was allegedly murdered within the premises of a government school in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, triggering panic and outrage in the area.

The incident took place at the Government Primary School in Chanour village in the Dehra area. The deceased has been identified as Salochna Devi (59), a resident of Chanour.

Police officials said that upon receiving information, a team from Dadasiba police station reached the spot.
