India, June 15 -- Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has cautioned against an AI future in which a handful of models capture most of the economic value, warning that such an outcome could leave entire industries stripped of their expertise and competitive edge.

In an article on X titled "A frontier without an ecosystem is not stable," Nadella argued that companies must retain ownership of the knowledge and judgment that make them unique, even as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly capable of absorbing human and organisational expertise.
