India, April 2 -- The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) lottery 2026 has reserved 47 homes in Mumbai for sitting and former Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) out of the 2,640 affordable homes up for sale.

These apartments include mainly homes in the mid-income group (MIG) and the high-income group (HIG), according to the MHADA list. Out of the total 47 apartments reserved for sitting and former MP/MLA, at least 25 apartments are in the MIG and HIG categories.

The costliest apartment, worth Rs.6.82 crore, put up for sale by the MHADA in South Mumbai's Tardeo, is reserved for sitting and former MLAs or MPs.
