Srinagar, Aug. 7 -- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti and her daughter Iltija Mufti have been booked for allegedly assaulting police personnel during the party's protest over the abrogation of Article 370 on August 4 in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar, an officer said on Thursday. The FIR has been registered under sections of 132, 121, 191(2) of the BNS at Kothi Bagh police station. "PDP workers led by Mehbooba Mufti and Iltija Mufti started moving towards the main road. Police requested them not to assemble on the main road. Instead, they turned aggressive and attacked the policemen," the FIR mentioned.
