Mayawati expels former health minister Anant Kumar Mishra from BSP
Lucknow, Aug. 14 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati on Thursday expelled former health minister Anant Kumar Mishra, also known as Antu Mishra, from the party on charges of anti-party activities. Mishra served in the BSP government from 2007 to 2012.
In a post on X, Mayawati emphasised that with the election atmosphere intensifying in Uttar Pradesh, party members must remain vigilant against opponents' tactics such as coercion, bribery, and discrimination, and remain fully dedicated to ensuring the success of the BSP's Ambedkarite mission in the upcoming assembly polls.
