India, Aug. 13 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested one accused in connection with the attack involving an improvised explosive device (IED) at a residential house in Tronglaobi Awang Leikai, of Manipur's Bishnupur district, stated an official statement issued on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on April 7, 2026 and resulted in the death of two minor children and injuries to another person.

The arrested individual has been identified as one S. Palal Thadou, stated the official statement.
