New Delhi, March 8 -- A 26-year-old labourer died while working on a sewer line at a Delhi Jal Board (DJB) worksite in northeast Delhi's Sonia Vihar on Friday, when soil caved in and a heavy stone fell on him in the six-to-eight-foot-deep pit, injuring him fatally, police said on Saturday. Police identified the victim as Afzal Sabbir of Meerut. The incident comes a month after a 25-year-old motorcyclist died after falling into a DJB pit in west Delhi's Janakpuri. P6
