Thiruvananthapuram, May 29 -- A Kerala man who spent nearly 20 years in a Saudi Arabian prison after being convicted of murder and whose release was facilitated by a massive crowdfunding campaign returned home on Thursday in an emotional reunion with his family. Abdul Rahim, a native of Feroke in Kozhikode district, broke down on seeing his mother, Fathima, and other close family members at their residence in Kodampuzha.
