Hyderabad, Nov. 2 -- The 21-year-old man who allegedly attacked two Class 10 girls with a chainsaw at a school in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district was shot on Sunday as he tried to escape police custody, an officer said. The man, Hemanth, is critically injured. Police said he hurled stones at officers. The police fired six rounds at him.P9
