new Delhi, Dec. 23 -- A 45-year-old food cart owner was harassed and manhandled by a group of people on Friday for allegedly selling eggs on a plate that had Lord Krishna's image in southeast Delhi's Govindpuri, police said on Monday. According to police, a local resident, Ashwani Kumar, 50, filed a complaint against the cart owner on Friday, alleging that his religious sentiments were hurt. Police said Kumar and a few others got into a fight with the cart owner and asked him to take out the alleged plates. A few locals also staged a protest to remove him from the area. Police said they had received complaints and the matter was under enquiry. HTC
